TEST SERIES :: Zimbabwe v Afghanistan

Surprised at this score. I didn't realise there's a wicket in the world that Zimbabwe could nullify this Afghan bowling unit. With or without Rashid Khan, they have some talent.

Surface must be harder than concrete!

Whilst I do share your enthusiasm for the Afgans, Zim have a few decent players like. I like Williams who got big ton.

I wonder if Scrappy will retire out there playing with his brother?

It’s looked very flat to be fair, but one or two balls have started to misbehave. Not a bad place to be for the hosts with five hundred and plenty on the board

Afghanistan reduced to 84-6 today, less than a week after they scored 699 on the same ground

That’s cricket!

I’ve not been watching, but given Raza has taken two wickets for Zimbabwe with his spin on Day 1, I suspect Rashid Khan will be licking his lips for a bowl on this as the week progresses.

Update - 157 all out

Gone from one extreme to the other this series.

Very much so, couple of early wickets for the Afghans this morning too - 22/2 the Zim boys, Curran not out though.

Looking forward to seeing Rashid bowl.
a
