Test Series :: Australia v India

Wow, Aussies shafted there. Can’t believe how quick the third umpire was with it, can’t believe he didn’t look at a different angle either

Cummins well within his rights to ask questions and be pissed off. That was out. Bounced just before the bat and went straight up.

Bumrah is exceptional. Ever delivery is an event, already one of the best quicks of all time
Likely going to be the first bowler to reach 200 wickets with an average below 20.

He's the best bowler in the world without a doubt. 58 wickets in Aus at under 18 currently is mental

152 out of 199 wickets away is utterly ridiculous and yet he averages a mere 17 at home anyway.

200 wickets at 19 is absolutely insane. A shame he’ll probably only end up playing 60-70 tests given he’s already 31, had injury problems and plays all three formats.

I watched the final hour and couldn’t for the life of me understand why Australia didn’t declare, but Polly has just said something really interesting on the SA v Pakistan broadcast relating to it; if SA win today, India need to beat Australia to have a chance of making the WTC final. So it may actually suit Australia more to bat on knowing India have to go for whatever it is they set them.

To be fair declaring less than 300 ahead with more than a day’s play left seems pretty dicey even if the Indian batting lineup hasn’t fired that much this series.

Maybe, but you get 3/4 overs tonight to take one (or a couple) with you in a situation that is ‘lose-lose’ for the batting side.
