TEST SERIES: Afghanistan v Ireland

Good performance from Ireland this morning.

Gurbaz was the key wicket. Test debut for him but he did all the damage against us in that embarrassing defeat in the 50 over WC a few months ago.

Wonder if this was intentional or not given the last minute venue switch?

Balbirnie and Stirling need to get them over the line here as don’t trust them not to collapse if another wicket goes down

Perhaps it has been unintentional due to late change.

But been a good pitch from the bits I've seen. Runs there for batsman but just nobody managed to convert their starts.

Afghan spinner had success and both teams seamers ran riot

There in trouble here Zia Rehman could run through them again.
