Team for Villa

Zero reason to change anything really. Don't need to rush anyone back and Rigg deserves to start.
No one deserves to start

Gerty / Hume got dropped after mags away

It may be a balancing act between now and end of season of picking up points vs bedding in a few players who we've not seen too much of and battle testing a formation for next season

Rigg / Talbi / Angulo will probably all get a little bit of love between now and end of season

Only time I've been to Villa Park was Sept 2001, it was a 0-0 draw and we were utter shite. It was the same week 9/11 happened and I remember me and @Sid (my brother) in a tent in a storm as we went down and camped nearish Birmingham. The tent almost snapped in half due to the winds. I remember we were watching the 2nd tower get hit through a static caravans window with other people from the campsite who also didn't have a TV.

Team: who cares, we are brilliaaaaaant

Last time I was there Roy O Donovan won the game for us .. I think .. he probably didn't and I'm probably imagine all this
Roy odonovan led the line i think mate, sure chopra got the winner late on . . little dink over the keeper

God knows. All I remember of that day is "Billy Shithead" doing full length dives along a table full of beer glasses in the back yard of a pub near the ground .

We have a great chance of getting the 3 points as they should be tired and losing concentration after celebrating tonight.
That would really get us in a great position to finish top 8.

Roefs
Geertruida - Mukiele - Alderete - Reinildo
Rigg - Diarra - Sadiki - Xhaka - Le Fee
Brobbey

If Ballard is fully fit, I would slot him into the middle of a back-five and put Rigg on the bench.

Potentially, the subs bench also looks much stronger :-

Ellborg - Hume - O'Nein - Cirkin - Ballard (or Rigg) - Talbi - Mayenda - Isidor - Angulo (possibly)/Jones

Very much looking forward to this. New ground for me, always seemed to be midweek when we were last in the PL so couldn’t get down.

Last 2 away ends have been unreal. Leeds one of the best ever, then of course that lot.

Roefs
Mukiele 09 Alderete Reinildo
ELF Xhaka Sadiki
Rigg Brobbey Talbi

Safe travels anyone heading down.
Nah Diarra just getting going , needs to play

Excellent side Villa, really tough game but hopefully we can capatalise on them still being in Europe and playing mid week twice in a row

A point would be a top result

I hope we come out and have a go early on. RLB has shown in recent weeks a bit more attacking intent.
If we nick an early goal i'd back us to be compact and hard to break down.

Confidence in the squad will be high after back to back wins. Would snap your hand off for a point now, but i don't think it's impossible that we go there and get more if things go our way. HWTL
