There was a load of bands on mind. Stage near the Glass Centre and of course the Streets thing at Seaburn.

Yes I saw them. Really enjoyed the brass bands on Friday at St Peters and the Summer streets festival. So much good stuff on there.

The act I was on about was due to play the town moor on Saturday but was cancelled.

The town moor was a disaster with gentoo pulling the plug on the bands.

Apparently there was a problem with ‘substances’ so they were searching everyone’s bags etc before going in..

It was always going to be a disaster given it was out of sight of what the event was all about. I wanted a beer and just thought they weren’t serving - then as I made my way back into town discovered that bit next to the school with all the bait cabins etc. Bizarre.
