Talksport - Jason Cundy/O'Hara

Jason Cundy was taking the piss out of Sunderland, saying no one would want to join because it’s “too cold” up here, and that PSG players wouldn’t come. Jamie O’Hara was laughing along as well… the usual nonsense.
But look at the facts:
  • Mukiele joined – ex‑PSG.
  • Reinildo came – from Atlético Madrid.
  • Florent Ghisolfi (however you spell it!) worked at Roma.
So what are they actually on about? They clearly don’t know anything about Sunderland.
Fair enough, a lot of Londoners have big egos about their place. But up here, people are friendly, welcoming, and you genuinely feel comfortable. That matters more than whatever lazy stereotypes they’re pushing.

What are they on about?

Presume they’re saying controversial things to get people biting and drive phone calls / engagement with their socials as normal.

Nothing to see here.

Radio for thickies, by thickies.

Add in Simon Jordan, a jumped up failed owner turned gobs***e. Not sure why some take what he says as gospel.

All brought to you by Selco Builders Warehouse.

What’s anyone even bothered for

Pair of absolute helmets. Sadly that's what talksport has become. Majority of presenters are dreadful
Whole station only exists as a money spinner for News Broadcasting (they also own Talk radio - dreadful radio for thickies), who must cream in loads through advertising of any old fast food / betting company shite, plus morons calling in.

About as journalistically credible as a plank of wood.

It’s talksport mate. They’re paid to spout nonsense to wind people up.

If yer listening to Talksport in 2026 then I suggest you are an old fart who should get out of your comfort zone and stop seeking yer thrills with that lame brain shite. Stopped listening 20 years ago coz its utter shit.

I don’t take them two seriously they just wind up some callers for a laugh. Remember earlier in the season they had that idiot mag on they wound him up that much he nearly explored then got a sunderland callers on who absolutely finished him off with mind the gap. The video clip of that went viral
Someone get it back up please.

Never tuned in to any show like that. Never listen to so called experts some who never played footy, and nearly all failed managers.
However, I watched them on that ynot video, and enjoyed it, just shows the experts are not.

It's just bantz to appeal to cockney white van men

I heard a rumour that they have people talking about sports in between all the adverts. Has anyone else heard this too?
