Talksport - Jason Cundy/O'Hara

Jason Cundy was taking the piss out of Sunderland, saying no one would want to join because it’s “too cold” up here, and that PSG players wouldn’t come. Jamie O’Hara was laughing along as well… the usual nonsense.
But look at the facts:
  • Mukiele joined – ex‑PSG.
  • Reinildo came – from Atlético Madrid.
  • Florent Ghisolfi (however you spell it!) worked at Roma.
So what are they actually on about? They clearly don’t know anything about Sunderland.
Fair enough, a lot of Londoners have big egos about their place. But up here, people are friendly, welcoming, and you genuinely feel comfortable. That matters more than whatever lazy stereotypes they’re pushing.
Two average London footballers who have an infantile show …. Which imho is a click bait exercise to get listeners to phone in

I think junior school kids could host a better show

It’s a 24 hr show . They have to create controversy and debate or their would be fuck all to talk about .
It’s dead easy to avoid the show by just turning it off and doing something else .

I can’t get away with it like, everyone knows the real erudite gentlemen and gentleladies listen to the Guardian football weekly 😎

Let em. We don't want the type of players who wouldn't want to come cos its cold.

It's been seen as a disadvantage in the past but in this day and age of some players being big on mastering mentality it might be an inbuilt wheat/chaff filter.

Cannot stand Goldstein, boring, and adolescent. Always has to be right and shouts over people. One of these people who always try to be funny with everything they say but never are
All of the presenters on every show I've listened to do shite like this to try and bait people into calls. Someone comes on irate challenging it and the presenters can argue back/take the piss. Granted I don't listen to Sports Bar but Goldstein does it nearly every night on the Drive show
