Talksport - Jason Cundy/O'Hara

Little bit of poetic license
Mukiele was PSG player but on loan at Leverkusen. PSG wanted rid ( glad they did ) plus he got a big pay rise to join us
Reinildo was being let go and thus on a free
The premier league is an attractive destination and at the end of the day ( unless it is a seriously elite player ) it is all about wages and contract length. All the other guff ( as soon as I talked to the manager/owner etc etc, it was an easy decision ) is just window dressing for fans ears.
Cundy and O hara are 2nd tier pundits on the slide down and are after clicks and attention
How do you explain Xhaka joining then?

Some of the reactions here

Not able to take a bit of lighthearted ribbing? acting like mags.
Spot on. The whole “ropey beach” was obvious that it was a joke segment and people taking it seriously need to get out more. Plus it’s well known that foreign players and WAG’s like to be near the capital… like this isn’t a new concept but people taking offence to it. It’s almost as bad as people taking offence because BBC Look North’s Newcastle segment is longer than Sunderland’s segment 🤣

Exactly - they're just playing up to the stereotypes for a laugh

The people reacting on here are the perfect example of the outrage culture across social media - how do they cope with everyday life or mates taking the mick

They’re laughing throughout ffs, it’s clearly a joke.

I don’t take them two seriously they just wind up some callers for a laugh. Remember earlier in the season they had that idiot mag on they wound him up that much he nearly explored then got a sunderland callers on who absolutely finished him off with mind the gap. The video clip of that went viral

Jason Cundy was taking the piss out of Sunderland, saying no one would want to join because it’s “too cold” up here, and that PSG players wouldn’t come. Jamie O’Hara was laughing along as well… the usual nonsense.
But look at the facts:
  • Mukiele joined – ex‑PSG.
  • Reinildo came – from Atlético Madrid.
  • Florent Ghisolfi (however you spell it!) worked at Roma.
So what are they actually on about? They clearly don’t know anything about Sunderland.
Fair enough, a lot of Londoners have big egos about their place. But up here, people are friendly, welcoming, and you genuinely feel comfortable. That matters more than whatever lazy stereotypes they’re pushing.
I know 100% where I would live and it wouldn’t ever be darn sarrf!
Pair of absolute helmets. Sadly that's what talksport has become. Majority of presenters are dreadful
Ditto!

A couple of mouthy piss-ant London ex-footballers who maxxed out financially on their moderate talent, and are now one of the more parasitic elements of the pundit class that the game has spawned.

If they don't like my assessment of their disappointing careers, they can call me on my £25 a second premium line and tell me in person

There was a TS clip on here a few months back of Cundy, OHara and a MLF caller from Shields winding up a mag moron/caller.
The mag was almost crying with delusion, the two TS clowns were virtually crying with laughter and could hardly speak while the MLF roasted the mag with humour and logic. His departing “mind the gap” as he was faded out was the final straw and had me in tears myself.
Needs to be put up on here every time those two idiots start being slagged.
