It seems more likely to me that there could have been a good amount of truth in it and that everything was going well until something changed. Everything pointed towards it happening imminently. Like the fanzines/podcasts going big on it and the company being set up on companies house.

I cant help but think that the ownership may be moving the goal posts, either financially, by upping the price or by trying to keep donald running things. This would be unforgivable if it was the case. You cannot miss opportunities like this. If it was me i would feel morally obliged to ensure the deal went through. Regardless of whether i made a profit or not.

Football clubs have a few specialised disclosures which are normally made over and above the legal minimum, and they seemed unaware of them. Hi, because it still escapes me can you tell me why this company Madrox was formed to, if true put the last parachute payment into instead of into the clubs accounts ? Thanks in advance.
 
When the deal appeared as good as done, we were undefeated without playing well, but then got spanked at Peterboro. This was followed with some poor performances in the league, including disappointing 1-1's v Rotherham and more so v Bolton. Then came the Lincoln mess. Wonder if the Americans didn't like the look of things all of a sudden as they could see no guarantees on promotion ?

It was formed for the same reason as the Irish formed Drumaville and the Americans have formed FPP - to act as a holding company for the shares in Sunderland Limited, rather than Donald, Methven and Sartori holding them as individuals.

More to do with personal tax and treatment of any later capital gains, and it makes it easier when you come to sell the shares in the subsidiary. It's just easier to use a limited company investment vehicle. Donald actually has another company, SJD Leisure Holdings, to hold his shares in Madrox. As he owns 74% of Madrox, SJD is actually the ultimate holding company.
 
So much for announcement today. Not that it was actually that feasible when only 2 two days ago Charlie said it was still ongoing.

Aye but it's limited liability. They didn't buy the club as a partnership or sole trader cos they could lose their house.

Why do people keep believing what people say on here, they have no idea when it will happen, if they keep saying tomorrow they will claim to be right when it finally happens
