Takeover Rumours

Don’t disagree about it being dull to watch and I think we need to braver going forward but performance wise on Saturday things were ok. A slow start but we reacted quickly to the goal and deservedly won the game comfortably. It seems very odd how conservative we are under him given his reputation prior to coming here.
They were not ok. They cannot pass the ball to each with any degree of consistency and after f***ing up the simplest of passes give each other a fist bump instead tearing each others ears off. Please don't misunderstand me I love Sunderland winning but Saturdays 2nd half was atrocious against a terrible team who should have been put to the sword. If JR had come out " Came back well after going behind but should have been a lot better in the 2nd half" I could accept he's trying to manage the situation but endless "poor little me crap" and not putting the things right in the team are really starting to get on my tits. By way haven't seen anyone say well done to Elliott Embleton for his glorious pass out McGeady to set up Grigg for his usual miss of the week. Well done Elliott hopefully class will allowed to be out in the end.

I agree, but there’s some on here if you are critical of how things are going, you’re a mag or you’re not a true fan. There are posters who take a lot of shit who have been spot on for years...

@rocky

The truth of it, people can only call it how they see it, on both sides of the divide.

It’s as much my business as anyone else’s as I have to read your posts either having a go at others or talking about yourself. You are going on Ignore. Bye.
Anyone that says they’re putting someone ignore clearly aren’t.
No great loss if you do to be fair mind.

May seem an odd question but why

Who posted this

It's easier to type on a full size keyboard, the phone connection on the line from Newcastle to Bristol is up and down like a bride's nightie, and Cross-Country's wi-fi is so unreliable even the train managers won't use it. In other words, while posting from my phone on the move is doable, it's a right pain in the arse.

Most teams spend nowt in this league. Even taking the Grigg transfer out of it we contributed to about a third of all of the transfer outlay last season. Only a handful of clubs spent anything at all. Take into account he already had maja, mcgeady, cattermole, oviedo etc on the wage bill which forms part of the budget he blew the others out of the water with what he had to work with.

As I said baring Grigg we haven't spent out in this league either. Out of the 18 man squad on Saturday 14 haven't cost a penny, and the rest is nominal. You cant attribute wages blame to Ross, if we went by that logic we once had about the 6th highest wage bill in the premier league, high wages are to blame on the mismanagement of the club

Ah I see. Modern technology eh. I'm posting from 1400 miles away no problem it's weird as soon as you get on a train/metro life ends.

Wouldn’t worry about it mate. The time for typing will be over. Just make sure you’re near the bogs.

I’m answering replies to my posts.

Not this morning you didn't, you came on here to have a little gloat about Reiver, knowing he couldn't answer you back.

The bannings on this place are way OTT mind.
What I will say is though that I don’t exactly think this thread will miss rivs input on slightest.

He claimed this was a done deal 3 weeks ago and still nothing confirmed. I think it may happen but it’s safe to say it wasn’t done 3 weeks ago if still nothing announced now.

He then claimed he’d been told it would be announced 2 Fridays ago. Again still nothing.

The rest of the stuff has been a lot of name dropping with vague comments about how he cant say too much (insert winky emoji).

He’s pretty much posted on this thread non stop without really saying anything.

Life goes on and I’m sure people will get over yet another reiver banning.

I'm not blaming him for high wages, my point is that with those high wages come better players than most teams in this league could attract. "Nominal" fees at this level are still huge when other teams cannot afford to spend a penny.
