No idea, or even if needed. But if its gone to efl approval and seems close (which a few incl journos have suggested) then its way past the due diligence stage.

As you said nobody will know for certain unless the owners discuss it, but its depends what people class as done. Legally its when all contracts are signed & money transferred, but reality is often everything is agreed and done long before that stage

I don't even know who he is. Either way, I'm either completely wide of the mark or you're all nuts, including people who usually seem spot on.

So for that reason I'm leaving this thread and this will be my final post on the matter.

Hopefully the deal is done.

Never be sorry for being passionate marra. Think there’s a lot of people getting edgy because it means so much. In the grand scheme of things, a couple of weeks for a deal like this is nothing, but it’s been heightened because everyone’s constantly talking about it. Once it’s done, we’ll all laugh about it. I honestly think it’ll be the best thing to happen to us in years.
