Might get excited once it happens. I don't get the "well, no announcement, another day of doing nowt at work tomorrow" personally.

From what I remember of that Jardine, and apologies if I'm wrong, but I believe him to be a bit of a troll.

What's annoying is that if anyone questions a single thing this reiver fella says then they're either mags or wind up merchants.

I'm like this. Of course it could well be a superb thing for the club but, we are no worse off at the moment and wouldn't be if it didn't happen. I'm far more interested in upcoming games at present.
What will be, will be.
 
I’m at the point now that I’m happy that something has happened. I’ve said before that I’m not only interested in the stability and investment in the club in the long term but what a potential big money investor who knows what they are doing can bring to the area. I don’t care if the ‘group’ make twice their investment or more. Sunderland as a club as well as the area has been on the decline for years. I still love the place with all my heart and anything positive gives me such a buzz. Not only for me but for the people of the area I’m from, and I’m proud of. We are a region of people who are so proud of our history and our ability to live when the times are shit. Any sort of positive for this area should be seen as a potential lottery win. And if the football gives us more I will be forever indebted to Donald Methven and our cousins across the way.
As you can tell, I’m out, I’m drunk. I wear my heart on my sleeve about the club AND Sunderland in general. Sorry rant over
