No but it was necessary. You forget we were in free fall both on the field and in the accounts. Another season of short could have seen us in league 2 and in very real danger of doing a bury. Credit where credit is due SD has done a great job of turning us around so far wether he and Ross are the men to steer us all the way back to the big time is yet to bee seen and I'm sure our new owners (when it happens) will decide that in due course.

Could part of the conundrum be the catering is ran by Elior and a lot of staff tuped across to them when Bain wielded the axe. Could those contracts and staff be holding things up?

Just drove past the sol so I thought I’d have a drive round.
There were some people hanging around the car park on phones and a couple of separate groups heading towards the main entrance. Looked like shifty press types to me but I’m so fucked up off this take over, I’m probably adding 2 and 2 and getting 5 😩
