Takeover Rumours

Going down to this league looks like its been a blessing in disguise and I've hoped and prayed for something like this to come along.

I remember the Reid era reported on as "waking the sleeping giant"

This will hopefully be the giant getting a boot up the arse and steroids :D

And how some of us were ridiculed when we said relegation might be best thing for us ;)

It’s getting a tad deranged on here now. Cabin fever probably.
I think at 22:00hrs GMT we should all go out for a ten minute stroll, get some fresh air, look up at the moon and stars and admire their glory, ponder both our and the takeovers insignificance in comparison to the universes sheer unending vastness. Just for ten minutes. Then come back in for another 2million views.
Waddya say?

Not offended, more amused by the amount of caveats the thrown in even after the author -states "We do not yet know the extent of the new owners' ambitions for the club, nor how much they are prepared to invest" and then goes on to say why it won't happen.

In comparison to the tone that was used by the Chronicle when the Mags had their fake sheikh - and this part of the article "Already a huge club with a massive fan base, the billions injected into the club could well bring silverware to Tyneside just like it has done with Manchester City, something that is suggested in the projected odds."

Just think it's sad how bad the Chronicle has become
