Thank you Riv. Reiverting stuff. I hope this thread gets a mention on series 3 or 4 of STID on Netflix.
Not that kind of ambassador mate.
No offence to those people but actually someone with worldwide political contacts, influence and a taste for Ferrero Rocher
Think of Platini without the daft hair, sanctimous attitude and brown envelopes.
Tommy Lynch, couple of years after Davey I think
Monsieur. With these nuggets of information, you are really spoiling us.
The return of Miliband??
Perhaps waiting for a new manager to be available payoffs ect announce takeover sack staff have new manager and staff ..makes it look professional.....after all the international break affords us some time!I'm still intrigued how staffing issues can prevent an announcement.
Was watching a bit of STID last night with Mrs Sauce (She relented when i wouldn't shut up about watching a little bit of it) and even she asked why, if they were so big, get involved with Sunderland in League 1? I said all about the netflix playing a part, the big club for next to nowt etc etc, but even in my head, i think if you have that much money, you could buy anybody really, and get instant success. That appears to be the case mate.
It's not for the love of ex-industrial towns, a pier you can fish off or the quaint clientele in Jamesons![]()
Tell your mate it’s brilliant. My old schoolmate made that Raymond Lonsdale
Right idea, wrong time ?I remember Short believed broadcasting rights over in the US would earn a great deal more than transpired.

So they would put more money into the club the worse our economy is? I hope this country goes to pot....We'll be more mintedIf the deal is already finalised then I can’t imagine so. Plus if sterling keeps dropping then any money they put in after they’ve bought the club would cost them less.
All human beings are capable of thoughtAre they? Assuming you're correct, it still doesn't necessarily follow.
Tomorrow would be fine tbhWe want the announcement! When do we want it? Yesterday!
Just read a bit about him & how he got back into art. Brilliant story. My old schoolmate made that Raymond Lonsdale
No fecking way....Its a clean break..out with the old and in with those who's energy, ideas and drive can channel the club going forwardCheers Riv.
Club Ambassador? Bally? Quinn?

That's what i think these lads are in for. They don't want instant success with work that has already been done for them. These lot are used to building things up from scratch themselves. That's the only way i can see why they would do it, and then it makes more sense. I am waffling but i'm half speaking to myself, trying to convince myself of this happening and on what sort of scale
The way this thread has gone, when it's announced i will be more relieved, but the excitement will be when i hear of their plans. Donald and Charlie get total respect for getting these lads in. I'm still interested about Satori and his involvement as well tbh. I was hoping for him before this story broke.
Tomorrow would be fine tbh

I will if I happen to see him. Sat next to him in register and art. We both got an A in "O" level art. His dad had a welding business think that's how he got into the sculptures in metal thing.Tell your mate it’s brilliant.
