Will take a good few seasons to price the fans out I reckon. Last time we were there with over 40,000 average we got less than £10m in revenue. If everyone had to pay double and they didn't give out free tickets they'd still push no more than £20m at most.
The money from being in the Premier League, sponsorship etc dwarfs the total revenue for some clubs. Hopefully this is where they focus on making money, the football side and not from fleecing the fans by simply pricing many out if the ground gets full (even after an extension) plus they also make it more pf a fan thing around the game and again limit the pricing structure as they know they can make money elsewhere without the fans having to be stung![]()
Clubs can probably survive in the premier league quite profitably without fans turning up tbh.
