It would make sense. They want to come in and make a statement, Ross still has the support of Donald, so that could make it an issue that delays an announcement whilst not being something that puts the takeover in trouble. They could get a big name manager without it affecting the L1 version of FFP so again it's one they can do, Ross probably deserves longer but hasn't done so well that anyone would really care if he was peddled, some of the football has been awful even if results have been largely acceptable. Can't think of much else that would affect the announcement timing, if we're assuming the deal has been signed off etc

There's no way the takeover won't happen but there are just too many issues to address in a day. I've pushed to find out what the issues are but I'm not getting too much response. When I asked about a managerial change I got no response at all.

So it looks like a midweek announcement and the whole hysteria all over again ...

Not much more you can do mate tbh. The info you’ve given has kept this thread going all week. For the sake of a few days, it doesn’t make much difference really - the main thing is it’ll happen and when it does it’ll be unreal. I think there’s loads on here who appreciate what you’ve done - we’ve just got to be a bit more patient. It’s gonna be worth the wait though 😃

ALS also had a t shirt made instantly with SunDELLand on it. Not something anyone would do at such an early stage unless given the nod by the club that it was a done deal. Even SD said on a podcast something along the lines of I want to be here in 10 years and the fans will soon see if I've done a deal for me or a deal in the best interests of the club
