Takeover Rumours

Is the sleeping giant about to be woken finally? He's been up and down more than I care to remember.

A couple of cup wins , long stint in the top league and nearly cracked it under Peter Reid.

Numerous semi finals and finals with some big name players and managers revolving the door on another sacked or poached ( bsa) comrade.

And now we're in league f***ing one ( again)

I hope theses new lads wake it up for good.

If we were to compete at the top end of the premier league the club will double in size and the ground will be too small.

Extend the south stand and the atmosphere will be like Dortmund ( the Dortmund model) :)

These lads need to bulldoze their way to premier league. I think Ross is on very ice and they have a replacement in waiting.

Big sponsorship deal to get to the big table asap.

I must be dreaming

I've been told absolutely nothing about Dell, not a word.

The people around him are duty bound and totally respect the man.

His movements are more guarded than the Queen's toilet functions
So early reports of him being involved as a investor are false ?

Ha ha I wasn't I was just wondering how owners can make money in football nowadays and even if they wanted to spend fortunes isn't that restricted by FFP?

I have read on here loads of times that it would take hundreds of millions just to get to 7th. From league 1 to 7th in the PL would require a fortune.

@BigPeter says great times ahead, unless that means winning the PL then it's irrelevant as I was told all Newcastles high league finishes and European games mean nothing as we won nowt! If and when you have several top 4 finishes, play champions league football in Sunderland, get Sunderland to half the city that Newcastle is and fill your stadium regularly for once then I might take Sunderland seriously as a rival to Newcastle.

You wouldn’t be on here otherwise.

Wooden heed.

Awesome, looks like, I've got a 15 hour shift ahead of me at work on Friday. Nevertheless I will plough on and take it for the team, with a chuffing huge grin on me bracket for the mags around me. Will savour that drink when I get home at about half ten. :D

I've had it twice in my time on here marra, one time when I backed up @jsdftm04 and his info during Borini signing and I got word Big Sam was a done deal about 48 hours before it was confirmed. I got called worse than shite both times, funnily enough by the same group of members. They have chased away any true itk's down the years, fire away marra as you know fine well most people are taking what you say at face value.
I miss Dennis Longhorn .Even though he was a cryptic fucker

What you banging on about, wipe away the tears and actually take a look at the shite your spouting.

I'm a Geordie anyway so fuck knows how you think saying I live in a nice place is meant to insult me?

I don't care about what you have done or failed to do....

There will be good times ahead for us and that's what is making all your lot freak out, not expecting to win the PL just going to be happy to finally push forward win some games and compete.

I also wont set my benchmark as Newcastle like you seem to do with us... I couldn't give two fucks about your lot just will be funny seeing the meltdown due to the amount of shit I've had growing up over Newcastle being a Sunderland fan by pathetic people like you.
I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Who the fuck in their right mind would set Newcastle as a benchmark for any thing. The absolute deluded bastards.

@Reiver - whats the charity you fund raise for mate - as the entertainment and the info value you have given is worth a donation to the charity.

It's the Salvation Army mate, the only charity I truly trust.

My family have been active members for 100 years and I've done everything from fundraising to serving Christmas lunch to the homeless ...
... they're a great bunch of lads ;)

Edit: I've just come across a photo of Mrs Reiver on the terrace of the Carlton Hotel in Cannes, during the film festival.

I was body guarding Cruz, for 10 days, and the hotel manager invited our lass to spend the evening on the terrace ...

... you can see me miked up in the background looking canny in my suit, etc.

Tell any of the Mags they can see it if they put a £500 donation in my charity fund for the Salvation Army, the charity I work for.

Or they can post on here if they have the balls ...
Reiver, even if the worst thing happens it’s been emotional, great crack!
