I am 64 and from going to the matches in the 60s/70s we used to sing in the Fulwell end "Geordies here, Geordies there, Geordies every f***ing where". "Mackem" was never mentioned! At Uni or on holiday if anyone heard my voice they would refer to me as a Geordie and I was proud to say yes because it meant I was from the North East and proud to admit it, as I still am.

steady on, im not having a go. simply posting stuff with no evidence doesn't contribute to anything and its also not accusing you of lying. i couldn't care less as i'll believe it when it's officially announced.

No mate. I’ve decided to take it easy with the away jaunts at the start of the season. Only done Rochdale.
We’re taking The Midges (our children’s firm) to Bolton. I’ll probably do Accrington as well.
You been to any yet?
