Hope you're right. If it is all done and just waiting on the bloody EFL to get round to signing it off you'd think we'd be putting a rocket up their arses mind. I know there's other things going on but surely someone could get it done. You'd think we'd want it over the line as soon as possible with the transfer deadline coming up, and just with the general boost it will give, can you imagine the atmosphere we'll make down Peterborough if it's confirmed!

Don’t know the lad either, but if this was a wind up, I’d buy him a pint for the entertainment value alone, not to mention the bites he’s attracted from the daft lads.

For the record though, I think he sounds legit.

SAFC is frequently referred to as The Mackems in the media these days, never The Geordies. I just hope that moniker doesn’t offend our fine Geordie support.

Quite correct.. I know him personally and he is not the type to attention seek.. Far from it. If he posts something.. Its true to the best of his knowledge..

Tbh I like the term Mackem I'm a Geordie Mackem end bit separates me from the idiot mags.

Should be Geordie Mackem = Lads fan
Geordie Mag = Deluded idiot
Geordie = Someone from Newcastle

This. It’s been a welcome relief from all the “Ross out”, “Cack boss” and “1-1” craic of late. If it doesn’t happen, I’m a big boy and I’ll get over it. Might be a bit of a kick in the knackers mind, but I’ll survive. Still believing though 😃
