Business men of this stature will not make half arsed announcement. SD Juan and CM have witnessed the outpourings at Trafalgar SQ in particular and will be itching for said announcement but these blokes ain't got that red and white blood running through their veins yet and not sure they will to our extent.

I'm sure they will be looking forward to the challenge but maybe a little more reserved than the 3 amigos
 
Iam a believer in what Reiver is telling this board and hope it’s not a wind up ( which I don’t believe it is ) being born and bread Ashington lad but a massive lads fan for over 35yrs as is my dad and late grandad , I’ve had some shit over the yrs off the mags but the six in a row did help shut them up for a while but then to be relegated to league one again has just got them crawling from under their stones again !!! I would just love us to shove it up the shop shouters horse punching fukers once and for all ... so 🙏🙏🙏this goes through

Quite a few have asked so here goes, this is what I've gleaned.

Bear in mind this was from someone in an office environment where things were being discussed and not a board meeting or anything formal.

The gist is that this group want to build something more than a football team but won't just pour money in.

Anyone and everyone in the community, who claim to want progress, will be invited to participate in one way or another.

This bit is guesswork, from what was said ... the council, local business, various sports bodies, etc, etc, etc will all be 'included' but there won't be any charity.

I'd guess that means it could be like a pension scheme where contributions will be matched/enhanced by the club.

I'd hope they can attract other money to the town just by the force of their joint 'personality' .

They're no doubt people who can make things happen so fingers crossed.
