So it's almost 9 months to the day it was Xmas day. So more like daddy got a Xmas pressie which resulted in mammy Getting a present of her own
 
Lurker here, and have no idea how to emded, but @mikeminay, broadcast journo for radio manchester has tweeted there is an unscheduled EFL board meeting today at noon? Expect more likely to be regarding Bury, but...

The next news will either be that the takeover is completed, or that is has failed and then I am sure the press will be all over it again. They aren't going to report daily that nothing is happening, and the people at the club will no doubt have signed an NDA so won't be able to discuss anything.

I suspect we are now at the Football League approval point, and they have been rather busy with other matters this week!

We just have to agree to disagree. I'm sure there is people in the media who like us and people who don't. I'm not convinced that the media in general hate us.

100% it'll be about Bury. I doubt EFL checks require board meetings

Lifting the notice on Bolton and considering the Bury MPs letters to them for sure. Fit and proper doesn't need a full board meeting; it's more routine admin.

There was nothing to report on the last few possible takeovers at the mags. That didn’t stop them enthusiastically reporting on it.
