I’m sure there was a photo of SD on Tuesday night sitting alongside a “mystery man” and the caption said something about it being to do with the new investment. Can’t find the photo now. Doubt it will have been anyone that 1) we would recognise or 2) could be proven to have any links to anyone who’d be interested in a takeover anyway.

IMO that's the plan, but with investment put into the team when required to get to the next level.

Ok but if Short knows all these people why wouldn’t he do the same deal with them that he did with Donald. Are you saying he’s basically partners with Stewart Donald?

That is FFP - it's just got a separate name

SCMP won't affect us this season, in that case - our income is more than enough to cover 60% of the wage bill

You need to remember the state we were in last year. Always easier to sell things once someone has been in and cleared up the mess.

SCMP is not FFP, but you are right it won't effect us this season because of the work the owners have done in reducing the wage bill to less than 60% of our income.

It is - it all forms part of the Financial Fair Play regulations, which is what FFP stands for

The wage bill was (comfortably) below 60% of income prior to this summer
