If (when ) we get took over and have mega millions we should still try to run it as a sustainable business with a clear plan in place with a strong scouting system and academy, I really don't want to go back to bribery and making millions for agents, it pisses me right off tbh. Meanwhile haway the investment!

He’s worth 37billion...I think he could handle it. The other thing is, do people trust Stewart Donald to run a club with a major backer? Besides cutting back the wages, what appointments or transfers has he completed that says he’s the man to take this club to the next level??

Donald has no money and was brought in to make the club saleable - if you remember - Ellis couldn't get a sniff due to our debt and profile - he squared the debt and hired a team to get us lean - its right there man - Donald is a smart smart guy but listens to advice also. Ellis is still lurking as well - he loves us.

Really need a LB like
Aye it's the most immediate problem. If the Club wants to get promoted we need to get a couple of decent players in before September. New investment will be very welcome but its not going to take a billionaire to do that nor will it put the club in to catastrophic debt. Besides I don't think that many of the current squad could sustain the Club in the Championship should we get there. It would be very short sighted to start trying to build a Championship squad from almost scratch after promotion we need a sounder foundation of players than we have now .

The owner of Dell. Worth $37 billion and listed as 20th richest man in the world.

To put it into perspective, Ellis Short was worth $1.2 billion when he took over us.

Who is it that's speculated it might be him?

Even if we do get git rich awab men in won't the EFL FFP rules hold us back anyway? Wolves were loaded but succeeded through contacts and the "super agent". Other wealthy owners have failed in the lower league's despite significant investment

Or they’ll just sponsor us (we are at the end of our current deal, timing probably isn’t a coincidence) same as others who have money to burn, at vastly inflated rates. Or sponsor the ground etc.

Also, we could breach FFP in the championship and if we get into the premier, it would only be an issue on relegation should that happen again.

Better, more fun context: Sheikh Mansour is “only” worth £17 billion, about half of Dell’s

In other words, too good to be true

That's what got me excited about the Red Bull rumors. That's how they run their clubs. We'd have the money to buy quality but we will also have the money to bring in the very best scouts, coaches etc.

25th and not worth $37 billion.

Look through the Forbes rich list.

Did anyone have any credible info as to why it was dell? Or just the usual guesswork?
