Aggressive

I'm just giving an opinion.

Mine is that you're advising other people what to do as if you know better. Why do you think you have the right to caution other people.

If you don't want to get excited nobody's twisting your arm.

Your reply to him was anything but “aggressive”:eek:

True, but fat Mike’s money was mainly to sort out the debt left by previous owners. Wouldn’t object to seeing hundreds of millions being thrown around, but I’d be quite happy just to see us competing in the Premiership as a well ran, sustainable club.
if you want sustainable you wont want them throwing hundreds of millions around..

You beat me to posting that while I was catching on up the thread.

Bearing in mind this is a mag paper that tries to play down and rubbish everything we do, that must have a few people across the other side of the north east feeling a bit sick this morning!

Still feels too early to get too excited. The Short takeover to me was just another thing happening, Donald coming in was good for the club to gain some stability but from his financial clout was not this exciting. This has the potential to be amazing. I'm sitting grinning at work waiting for the other sunderland fan to come in. It does not quite feel like Quinny coming home but it feels damn good.
It’s brilliant isn’t it, massive smile on my face, football man, bloody hell 🤩

so we had 10 years in he prem..mostly shit ones aye..and couldnt sell out regualrly?

Yes, youve said it, mostly shit, it was crap man.

There was one game I came out of I questioned myself why I still went to the games (season ticket for 30 odd years), as it wasn’t entertaining or enjoyable, yes there were highlights, but in the main, shite.

The next thing on the yellow ticker “Steve Bruce Newcastle news conference coming up.” I think they are taking the piss.
I'll save everyone the bother of watching it, first line " well we'll be doing wa best but it's not going to be easy they are a very good side...." - same as last week and the week before that etc, it's called managing expectations....
