Takeover Rumours

Are people just ignoring the shit performances? The utterly boring football where we create next to nothing.

I think some just pride themselves on being ultra supportive and think it makes them a better fan. I'd be amazed if any fan doesn't have serious reservations about the style of play (lack of creativity) and the performances in general since the turn of the year. Fair enough not wanting to sack him yet, I can understand that, but thinking it's all good and he's doing really well, nah, can't understand the reasoning

813 pages of guff. Not a single thing substantiated.

Don't get me wrong, I'm here and along for the ride with everyone else and 'IT' is clearly happening but if you ever wanted absolute evidence of the hysterical nature of modern day social media (& football in particular)- along with the bi-polar nature of SAFC fans - then this is it.

After two successive relegations and losing almost all the squad, to just miss out on promotion at first time of asking was bloody great.. Just what did you actually expect? The trouble with many of our fans is they expect instant success, which is why we have never given managers a chance to settle in and is why we are in this crap in the first place..

Success ffs . Getting out of the 3rd tier with what was the strongest squad and most many spent in the league. 5th we finished below sides that could only dream of what we spent

The money we spent was to replace the far greater valued players who we had to let go because of wages..

You're happy with 5th place in league one? You're happy with boring football where we create very little? You're happy having played 70 odd games under him we're showing no signs of improvement?

You're very easily pleased

Why was it raised ? Has the takeover happened ?

Not officially but loads of people suggesting it's done and dusted and just waiting on the right time to announce after some minor things (which won't affect whether it happens) are ironed out. It was suggested the manager might be one of those issues, Reiver seemed to suggest he'd heard something along those lines, people went into overdrive speculating about who might come in. Presumably the club saw the reaction here or on social media and got the fanzines to release something saying he's staying
