Ellis is worth $1.6b, Dell is worth $37.6b. That's nearly twice as much as Sheik Mansour who owns Man City. John Phelan's is worth nearly as much as Ellis Short, his gaff in Palm Beach is worth $25M. If this happens it's ganna be massive. Maybe I'll take the bairn over to the island in his strips and get him to knock on Phelan's door, shout Haway haway haway and run away.
You can’t do that without without visiting the other famous Palm Beach resident and setting fire to a paper back full of dog shite on his doorstep, ringing the doorbell and running away!

But do that in a black and white striped shirt ;)

So you think a bloke that can afford any team in the premier league minus Man City fancies a stab at a league one club? Can’t see it myself like
It’s not about who the club is. It’s the business potential, they aren’t investing in us as supporters. Simply business. You wouldn’t buy shares in a company at the top of its game as there will be hardly any gain. This club will mean nothing to them apart from getting at least 10x their invested outlay back when/if we make it to the premier league.

Could you tell us something that we don't know, marra ;)

Aren’t the days of wealthy backers pumping money into clubs finished with all this financial fair play crap ?
