Takeover Rumours

Lovespreads in epic meltdooooon, why are mags like those horrible little kids who can’t see another kid have owt without throwing a tantrum and making it all about them?. f***ing strange behaviour, living up to the stereotype mag I would almost say it was one of us trying to make them look bad .

They just can't compute the fact things are looking up for us. Too much for their little minds to process.

They are Americans however and you have had one of them already, When Americans invest, they borrow the money first, and they aren't big on individual accountability or taking any personal risk. The fact that a few people who could afford your club all on their own are grouping together would concern me if it was happening at Newcastle. The takeover would be starting with the club in debt.

Did you really log onto another teams board and read 170 pages of this thread to then write that piss? Here's your next post for you 'Hi, I'm a straw clutching, arse clenching, bedsheet scribbling, gravy swilling, dopy killjoy fuck with nowt better to do with my life than embarrass my worthless self on t'internet'

Don't mention it, you're welcome.

Why are you making things up? and then accusing me of fabricating rumours. You've reacted based on another poster making up lies to try and win an argument with a mag on the internet. I made a point about American owners and got hit with loads of anti Newcastle bile, then accused of being someone who treats owners terribly so I pointed out your previous owner was glassed by one of your own. Then someone mentioned we weren't nice people and I indicated how nice we were chipping in for Bob Stokoes statue.

I don't clutch at straws I made a point and have followed up with facts, you lot make shit up and bury your heads in the sand rather than address a point. Which is the main reason I avoid the football threads generally on this forum, because you are all too blinkered.
Feel free to fuck off you sad act.

Mr Short was keeping the club from going under and was giving the banks hundreds of thousands each week to keep the club afloat, he was responsible for this but he helped clean up the mess he created. He also wiped over 100 million of the debt the club owed him. I think these men will be a different proposition to a lot of American investors 1 of the 4 investors is worth over £25 billion and another who will be on the board is worth around another £10 billion. The other two are also extremely wealthy another reported to be a multi billionaire. Take in to account Satori is ready to come in with some investment once we move up the divisions its a very exciting time to be a SAFC football supporter.
The fact that this Dell group are quite likely to be investing from their own pockets and away from the Dell companies is also very promising. I very much doubt the takeover will be starting with the club in debt as this would destroy all the good will Stewart and Charlie has built up with the fans and would be a bit of a head scratcher as they have busted their bollocks to get the club in a very healthy position. Time will tell of course but the reality of what seems to be happening at Sunderland AFC doesn't fit the narrative of a Newcastle United supporter...........Enjoy Bruce!

I've spoken to some who are exactly as described  but for balance a few mag mates & family although envious have wished us well without any childishness or bitterness

Football is about dreams, and there are so many kicks in the bollocks along the way. If you dont enjoy the moment you miss out. Its more than a rumour now. Its going well according to reports and the owners.
I was excited about mark Campbell at the start, gutted when he seemed to be out of the deal. Over the moon when Donald said satori was back making noises about investment, but this could just blow all that out the water.
Its bank holiday weekend, its gonna be roasting hot for drinks and BBQS, we are in talks with 4 billionaires.i am sitting in the garden with a cold beer with a smile on my face. Im gonna enjoy every second, whether it lasts a day and fails or ten years of success

Of course it is. If you rabble can't get excited over this then i suggest football is not the game for you. I genuinely hope it happens and we get the Derby back. Obviously i do not want the new guys to throw too much at the project.

Not sure what your on about, however I presume you've furiously researched old posts rather than addressing the point of the approach of American owners.
Nope. I remember an exchange with you because it was so ridiculous in which you claimed that 1969 was 1970. Thought it was appropriate to bring it up when you accused someone of lying on the internet.

Thing that excites me is the potential to revolutionise the club. Transfers don't really come in to play yet, not till we are up (bar one or two additions, this squad is enough).

Its everything in the background. The facilities are there, hopefully we get some real forward thinking people in and who knows what could happen. Exciting times.
Dell has been ahead of the curve since he was a teenager. If you want forward out of the box thinking he's your bloke.

You can't edit your accusations and ask them to be validated, you have to be clear about the accusations are.

We paid for Bob Stokoes statue wa smy accusation, see below.

You didnt though did you. Some former players contributed towards the statue along with an ex chairman....fair play to them but its hardly paying for it and its not like the average mag on the street contributed either. Contributing towards something and paying for something are two different things...you dont take your lass out for a meal you both contribute half towards the meal and then say you paid for the meal....then again:lol:
