Takeover Rumours

Huddersfield didn't spend when they got there. Of all the promoted sides over the last few years, only Wolves and the Mags have spent huge amounts of money. The point remains that you don't need anything like £100m to get out of the Championship.
Pretty sure most of the top championship teams have wage bills in excess of 40m as well.

It will cost 100m to turn us into a prem team

Possibly the ones in receipt of parachute payments. Leeds have the largest wage bill of clubs that don't - their's is £32m (a whopping 80% of turnover).

Tell a lie - it's Derby, whose £40m wage bill is 125% of turnover. That's going to need to come down - a lot. No wonder they had to do a sale and leaseback of their ground to comply with FFP.

Since 2015 Norwich have spent close to 80m on players building a squad. They have not done it on a shoe string and transfers now are double what they were 2 or 3 year ago.

And when was the last time we done that
Can you list the players they have signed for £80m? I genuinely didn’t think they had spent anywhere near that.

It's an awesome feeling, won't dare come on here if it was to fall through. The meltdown would be not of this world.
Football is about dreams, and there are so many kicks in the bollocks along the way. If you dont enjoy the moment you miss out. Its more than a rumour now. Its going well according to reports and the owners.
I was excited about mark Campbell at the start, gutted when he seemed to be out of the deal. Over the moon when Donald said satori was back making noises about investment, but this could just blow all that out the water.
Its bank holiday weekend, its gonna be roasting hot for drinks and BBQS, we are in talks with 4 billionaires.i am sitting in the garden with a cold beer with a smile on my face. Im gonna enjoy every second, whether it lasts a day and fails or ten years of success

So taking into account wages needed, the ever increasing transfer fees, agents fees etc, it would cost less than 100m to turn us Into a prem team?

Unless obviously we had the perfect transfer window, that would never happen

Mags not bitter, from Newcastle online,

That May night where these had lost the play-off final and The S*n break that we're about to be taken over. It felt amazing, like the pain was about to finally end.

And yet here we are. We have Ashley and Bruce, these are about to get Dell billionaires on board.

f***. ING. HELL.

Splendid
