Takeover Rumours

That's good at least. So it seems the takeover is happening, but also seems like Donald isn't allowed to say anything at present. That suggests to me that they're still dealing with a fairly big item. Doesn't seem to be the manager if the RR and ALS tweets from a day or so ago were drip fed to them so unsure what else it could be. As absolute speculation, do you reckon Donald and Methven's future involvement could still be up for discussion or would that likely have been signed off on by this stage?

Sartori as well. Donald will definitely be staying on, I hope Methven is too.

In a nutshell this is my understanding but, for the inevitabilty of my post being dragged up by Jardine in 20 years time, let's say it's all guesswork.

Donald, Methven and the new lads are all fine together and want a long term relationship to create a legacy in around the club.

Despite what ALS/RR/Whoever say, they're not happy with Ross.

The announcement is only being delayed by things outside of the agreed takeover.

I've already had to bow down and apologise once so that's all I can post but that hopefully gives you a clue.

I honestly wish I'd just enjoyed this thread from the outside and never posted.

This has cost me quite a lot of time, effort and lost income not to mention the pressure it's put me under ...

... at a time when I'd actually welcome a ban the buggers are nowhere to be seen.

Some fucker report me PLEASE

To the FSA for being a superb lads fan and crackin all round bloke 😎

Could be DOF, could be none SAFC related, could be EFL, could be politics or business related, could be Sunderland council.
Its Brexit and the shennanegans in parliament - they don't wan't to have to share the headlines!

Is this a good thing? I have a lot of respect for how they re-engaged with the fans when we were rock bottom, and pushed through a number of necessary cost cutting measures.....and I really like the blokes to be fair.

However, do they have the experience and football knowledge, to appoint the right people in the right places to take us to where we should be (ie. a Southampton, Burnley, etc)?

I sincerely hope they are, but would like to open up the debate and hear the opinions of others.
