Theres something not sitting right with me with this 'takeover' talk like. Summed up perfectly by Mr Weatherspoon . If this is legit, it just doesn't make sense a credible buyer would be having these a*seholes hanging around for a tidy profit.

I suppose it depends on how much the buyer wants the club and how much Donald is sticking his feet in not to sell 100%.

80% and full control over a club you want or nothing at all.

Not saying that is the case as it's impossible to know but it's hardly incomprehensible.

People are going on saying they won't have any say etc but the truth is no one knows what is really going on. I would happily write this season off to be shot of them completely and not make another penny out of the club. Theyve robbed us blind already. It would be better if a buyer just turned the screw and let him run out of money to the point where hes giving it away.

That would depend on the buyer. Essentially it's up to them how much they will let Donald etc have any input on their decisions. As it stands, as you rightly say, nobody knows.

I don't want them anywhere near the club regardless of input but at this stage, because nobody knows, it's daft to just decide the buyer isn't credible because they would still hold a percentage.

The music box and Towed in a hole are mine, but I’ve never seen one that didn’t have me in bits.
Dilli, I remember my son aged about 8 laying on the carpet facing the tv propping his head up on his elbows watching these two daft buggers. He started laughing, then started swapping his legs over, wet himself he laughed so much.
I wet myself laughing at him laughing at them !

My personal favourite is 'Blotto'.
Stan and Oliver decide to go to a new night club during prohibition without telling the wives. Unfortunately Mrs.Hardy overhears their plan including them taking her last bottle of booze to drink under the table.
She substitutes the content for tea with various additions from the kitchen cupboard. They then convince themselves that they're pissed in the club. This 'drunken' scene is unsurpassed comic genius. They were the best there has ever been.

I'm sure a credible buyer would rather not have them. Fact is though, Donald has to agree to any deal. If he is adamant that he either gets a ridiculous fee up front (which would be a big risk for a buyer) or a more reasonable fee but he retains some shares to, he hopes, cash in on later, then the buyer might well think the latter is the safer option. The only alternative is to walk away completely, but there won't be many better opportunities than safc around at the minute.

If they look at the figures and realise that they can do very well with 80% then it's likely they'll take it rather than not getting the club at all. Donald wouldn't be able to have a huge say with only about 15%, and quite honestly he probably doesn't want to, he just hopes they get it right so he can cash in. Plus we don't know the details of any deal. It might be the case that there's already an agreed price for the remainder of his shares if and when we go to the championship, so they might not envisage him being an issue for long. I think we'd all like the lot of them to piss off (including sartori as far as I'm concerned) but I wouldn't worry about a deal meaning Donald keeps a small percentage, its a very good first step towards improving the club and getting rid of him.

Without a shadow of a doubt.

I think it’s clear now and should have been from the outset, that the only way SD would leave totally, was if he were to receive his full asking price. In reality we know that was never going to be achievable so therefore a sale with him retaining a stake was the the only realistic outcome. All of the stuff he talked about during the Barnes interview was pure bullshit.

What, even the bit about his Daughter being kidnapped at a bus stop?
