Much will depend on who is installed to run the show. Get real - Sartori and Louis-Dreyfus aren't about to turn up at BCH every day. Their first step should be to appoint someone like Nicola Cortese as CEO to run the show for them, someone with experience of building a club through the promotions, preferably assisted by an able DoF.
Could have been found in the Columbian foothills for meOwt involving Marseilles rarely is
was CEO of Adidas.I've a french mate from Nice...the lads mother is allegedly a wad....he also said his father owned Adidas?...Will have to check that out
Aye quite ...there's an old saw, when you hear hooves think horses not zebras
for SAFC it should be when you hear there's a takeover think everything is going to go to shit
Just read the Guardian headline and immediately thought of the bird from Seinfeld
Nohasnt he been consistently full of shite?
Barely comment on football(SAFC) now on here and this is kind of why. Slowly been being beaten into submission by the club. Even when we had a few quid with Short the club was shambolic, bouncing from one shit idea to the next with not a single hint of any joined up thinking.
I've no interest in how much any owner of the club is worth now.
I want to hear that we have a long term strategy, a plan to implement it and a plan to actually stick with it and build.
We need to be signing players from the Academy through to the First Team that fit a way of playing as a team.
Players should be identified for their potential to improve and be worth more than we've signed them for so that we can re-invest when players move on (its football, bigger fish that us, its inevitable)
Players that are deemed as "under performing" at other clubs should continually be on our radar. Using modern methods to identify players around Europe that may not be valued by a club but who would be a good fit for our style.
Managers/coaches should be identified in exactly the same manner. We shouldn't be talking to a manager and asking THEM how they are going to turn around the ship. We should already know that they would fit into our style and "culture".
Etc etc.
Until that happens then little will change.
Oh dear. Kyril Louis-Dreyfus has a Twitter account (which I'm not linking, deliberately. Someone tell him to shut it down.
True. Think we all want that.Barely comment on football(SAFC) now on here and this is kind of why. Slowly been being beaten into submission by the club. I fear Donald has 'sold' himself as the man for the job.Be interested to see who they bring in to actually run the club.
