Aye it does seem a bit daft. If the deal is done it can be announced. If its virtually agreed but not fully signed off then it's not done, and we know not to trust any deal until the ink has dried. Not as if it's going to be massive news tbh, if it's done they'd just announce it, don't see what reason they'd have to keep it quiet
