I don't understand why the press need a headstart? Why would the club tell the press before anyone else?

What I said was it was off and only way it comes back on is if KLD gets majority shares, no problem.
And 100% players haven’t been told anything, they haven’t.

If there's a press conference then the journalists would need to know so they can be there (or in current times be sent the zoom link). Sometimes they're given copies of statements in advance of the public as well, to give them chance to write up articles about them and get the word out quicker.

if there was a press conference, we'd already know about it like. I used to do this for a living.
 
I can’t remember there being a press conference when Donald was appointed. It was broke on twitter first then a press conference a day or two later iirc.
 
Doesn't have to be a press conference for a statement or announcement to come from the club.

It does feel like matters are coming to a head. Would be brilliant if this could all be f***ing over and we could move on from worrying about the ownership situation.

If there was one, I’d imagine it’d just be a local journo. I can’t see it being breaking news with cameras crews from Sky Sports.

And they're hardly going to be having a photoshoot with covid about. KLD probably isn't even in the country. If this is going to be announced, I'd be surprised if it's not just done via a club statement posted out on twitter/socials.

Any new owners will have looked at the way SD/CM did it, and would want to do the complete opposite I reckon.
 
The whole 11am thing came from one genuine guy on 606 but even he said he just got it from a mate so didn’t know if it was true. People shouldn’t be hanging their hats on 11am. Doesn’t mean it won’t be today or tomorrow of course.
