I once read an article on Abramovich. To help you realise just how much money he had they used this analogy .
At the time of writing he had funded Chelsea to the tune of £290 million.This was the equivalent of a person earning £36,000 a year spending 76 pence .

The only logical reason is it's all they thought the club was worth and knew Madrox would struggle to repay it so they'd eventually get the club for that. The fact they set up a holding company basically proves it wasn't originally gonna be a loan, but a purchase.

If he's not going to be here then he'll put people in place to run it, he's hardly going to pump his own money in without having his own people running the show. You keep mentioning his age, I'm not sure what the relevance is.

The people are already there to run it...Rodwell & Speakmen are in place, Rodwell has Brought in Speakmen with the backing of the 'ownership team'...which is generally thought to be already involving KLD

Or maybe it’s because he’s the billionaire heir to one of the biggest companies in the World, who grew up around a family that owned a football club. The fact he isn’t an insurance salesman from Oxford is just a coincidence.
