Absolutely mental that this could cause problems. Billionaire who buys into a club wants to actually have the final say on things, what a shocker. As if he'd be happy just ploughing money in and watching the current incumbents, who have proven themselves utterly inept at even getting us out of this league, spending it.

Be another takeover these clowns fuck up won't it, few months time it won't have been a takeover at all just investment in Stewie, and the fans scared him away anyway.

I'm not sure how much more the club is worth in the Championship tbh.

Probably not much tbh. I've seen estimates that suggest we'd get about an extra £8m a year in the championship (from extra TV revenue and slightly higher gate receipts) but we'd likely have to spend more than that (especially including wages) just to try and get a few players in who wouldn't be utterly embarrassed at that level, nevermind the spend that would be needed to really compete. Add that to the remaining players getting promotion wage rises, which they've likely all got in their contracts, and we wouldn't really be any more profitable. The only advantage is that it's less of a risk for a buyer as they're only one good season away from the PL riches, but I really don't see promotion as the sudden windfall for Donald that some seem to think it would be.

It wouldnt be a windfall at all ,as i said further up he having to lob money in now so he wouldnt be any better off.Having said that, you have to wonder about the takeover going ahead or if there is one at all.Surely he isnt daft enough to keep hoying money into what is at the moment a black hole.
