Ball , Montgomery, Cooke , Horswill yeah what are these ex pro s doing hanging around the club lets get more conmen in there with no care or affiliation to us your talking bollocks

You actually can't win on here mate. One minute people are bemoaning the lack of loyalty in football and the next, people are saying we should get rid of the likes of Ball because they have "taken enough from the club".

The most depressing thing is that they both think they have done a good job and that we are all thick for not seeing it.
No they defo do not think that.
They both know and admit a LOAD of the mistakes made.
We can not change what has gone before.
With the flak JR got for the last 2-3 weeks he could have walked into a much better paid job.
He like CM and JS want to put this right.
On SD I just think his head is fucked up with all the shit.
I do not feel sorry for any of them.
I do feel sorry for all the hard working and retired fans who have stuck by the club.
But that said we would have been bust if not for them.
Nixon isn’t a mag journo, never was. I also suspect his info isn’t from club end
He is a mag fan mate. And his info is most defo from an insider or an agent who works with the club.

Do they realise we don't f***ing want the lying cunts near the club anymore and they should sell all their shares like they said and promised they would?

They have messed up big time and the thing is, they are capable of messing up even more. It wouldn’t surprise me if they messed up this “ takeover”. It will be a relief if they get it over the line.

Fine margins - we were so close to going up via the play off final and still had a chance last season.

Even if they'd kept Maja until the end of the season instead of seeing an opportunity for a quick buck they'd have achieved their aim of getting the club promoted for a massive profit whilst being lauded as heroes. The depths of their incompetence is nothing short of staggering.

Maja one is a bit more nuanced, I'd proportion a fair bit of blame to the Short/Bain regime for not extending his contract given he was 19 and scoring in the championship. It would have been good if we could have done a deal with Bordeaux/someone else that involved loaning him back till the end of the season, but they still messed it up by replacing Maja with Grigg.

Nixon is a well known Partick Thistle fan Bob. Fair play if they admit they've made mistakes but how would we have gone bust if not for them? Sounds like at best they are supporting the club by just paying in money that they owe us anyway.

Hopefully Jim Boy does walk into a better paid job, he wouldn't be irreplaceable, he hasn't even had the decency to acknowledge RAWA's request. Him and CM treat us fans with such disdain, its a f***ing disgrace. I think Juan saw early doors, they were a pair of idiots batting too far up the order. They are tail-enders, but pretty good at spin

Well all I can go off is their last public statements and both of them gave themselves a pat on the back. And that’s not the leaked stuff either. One was a radio interview and one was a YouTube video. Both also had a dig at the fans as well which is pretty sad. I hope at the very least they can see the importance of the fans now at this level now spending on merchandise, season tickets etc has been pulled from under them and that a lot of it is because of them and not just Covid.

He’s a Partick Thistle fan, defo nothing to do with Mags. Would club insider have known about share redistribution in July / August when he first reported it? Similarly when he called FFP deal as dead?

Unless its coming from SD, CM, JS or JR (which lets be honest based on previous trend is likely) then nobody else should know?

Aye the fact that his contract was allowed to run into the final 12 month is all on Short and Bain but Donald and Methven were desperate to sell once it became clear that he wasn't going to sign a new deal.

I thought that till I found out a senior guy at the club passed info to a poster on here who has now vanished of the face of the earth.

I definitely didn't have them sussed on day one. I was just glad Short had gone because he was seemingly willing to watch us implode, so like most fans, I thought we should give them a shot.

Nobody knows how these things will turn out, and being pessimistic about new owners and managers is a self-fulfilling prophecy at times. We have to give people a chance, it's not up to us to vet new owners or disbelieve everything they say before we've had a chance to understand what is going on.

Unfortunately, it has been a shitshow, but that's not the fault of any fan for not treating them like a pair of cowboys from day one.

Aye. People were so utterly disillusioned with how much of a mess Short had made that just about anything after that felt like the opportunity for a fresh start but in typical Short fashion his final decision as Sunderland owner has turned out to be one of his absolute worst.

Totally hypothetically....if SAFC Ltd went into administration could the administrator sue the directors of the business for not fulfilling their duty of acting in the best interests of the company when they wrote off the loan receivable?

Any administrator would look into the whole circumstances which led to the insolvency. Much would revolve around the clauses in the deal with Short, none of which are public. If, as has been claimed, £25m of the parachute was earmarked for the payment of the residual loan moved by Short, it's difficult to conclude that that movement created an inter-company balance that was legally enforceable. As cash has come in from Madrox after the writeoff, that would establish an argument from Madrox that the writeoff was being mitigated. The administrator would need to be certain that the actions of the directors were a) reckless and b) were the direct cause of the insolvency. It's more likely that an administrator would conclude that the direct cause of insolvency was the impact of Covid.

In reality, SAFC Ltd would not enter administration alone. All companies in the group, including Madrox, would enter administration. In that context, the administrators would look at the Madrox group as a whole, and the intercompany elements would simply be ignored. So far as the loan payment to Short is concerned, I'd be pretty sure that they'd regard this, in substance terms, as club money paying a club debt.

I think this is accurate for most, other than the ultra-perceptive Nostradamus lads on here who knew how it would go.

Methven... a PR expert no less has really been exposed as a complete shitbag. Rodwell is for all intents and purposes a puppet come lightning rod.
Now more than ever is when I fear the takeover is at most jeopardy... the clubs operational management has changed and iirc correctly seemed to imply one of their main motivation for coming here was after speaking with the ownership group. Now I interpreted that as KLD et al. But now Rodwell is making out that's actually Donald. Whose flipping between pleading poverty and begging bowling an efl.
We've all heard rumours and speculation asserted by various hacks, but given the reckless way the club and other potential buyers have been scared off has anybody got any faith that kld won't just walk and were are totally fucked through sheer greed and gross incompetence

Efl fit and proper checks must have concluded by now hence there must be a deal breaker somewhere
