Aye, it just seems a bit strange. If it was likely to be any sort of a sticking point then they could just take the £800k which is about a month's worth of costs and tell KLD that they might need more, which would come with restrictions, if he hasn't got the deal over the line. It might give a bit of urgency to it tbh. I just think the way the tweet is worded makes it sound like as soon as they ask for any money we won't be able to spend, which isn't the case. I wouldn't put it past them to ask for the hardship money as well like, but makes no sense to do it now if it might fuck their chances of getting shares sold

To qualify for the hand out you have to prove you will go bust if you don’t get it. Rodwell has already said in an interview the club is losing 1m a month which the current owners are covering and there’s no chance of us going bust. The EFL will see that as we don’t qualify.

Why do you go on like this though? Everything I post is picked over by you for evidence of some kind of superiority, when I'm just expressing an opinion. Get over it.

As for Armstrong, he's been wrong a few times and I don't think that's a bad thing, just worth pointing out that he's been hyper critical of the club and is unlikely have a connection at the very top, that being the case.

Am I allowed to say that?

Spot on. Hell, before buying us Stewart Donald told the EFL he's got £50m available, so they won't be expecting him to go for a bail out until he's spent some of his own money for once.

Donald and Methven are trying to make a quick buck by taking an EFL bailout which would damage the club.

It would be funny if the alleged lies he told when buying the club come back to bite him when the greedy c@nt tries to get money off the efl.

There's not a clause to exactly that effect. Rather there's one that says that no secured assets may be sold without their permission. I think they have some leverage on Madrox's own shares.
