How very f***ing nice of them after using the clubs money to buy us, flogging off a generations worth of younsters for pennies, sacking every fucker down to the kitman and taking out a now £11.8 million loan “they didnt need” secured against the clubs assets which has now been added in to the asking price.

But apart from that very well done to donald and the lads for funding us for the last 8 month “out of their own pocket”

They literally are scumbags

Yeah but aside from all that they're models of probity that only have the clubs best interests at heart mate!

You're just nit-picking now!

 ;)

Gordon Armstrong is a good bloke who loves the club, but nothing he posts is any closer than the people on here.
How can you say that and believe it ? You are an intelligent if a somewhat boring fart, but as clever as you are or think you are, you cannot possibly know where he gets info from or how accurate it is.
So, what I would say to you is this. Whilst you have a superior knowledge than most of us in certain fields you are lacking behind most of us in other fields.
Think before you send.

How can anyone be defending these scumbags at this point man?

Come on, you guys are horrible people slating SD. He is one of the nicest blokes ever come across. He will do his best for the club when the right takeover comes in. He dont want to see another bad owner. Its takes time. Just leave SD alone ffs. Oh, I thought Sunderland usually to lovely people around, I got that wrong. Pity.

That loan will have started to be used from the day it landed in the club after the share issue a year ago (£9m). I'm not sure whether Nixon is mixing up the dollar and sterling values of the loan (the charge document refers to $12m, which was c.£9m at the time. That could well have been insufficient to cover everything,

dIDN'T WE GET A LOAN FROM cLOSE bROTHERS AS WELL?

Kevin needs to go to English classes.

They own the club. Who's pockets should they have been funding it from?

This. From literally the second they took over they've done everything possible to avoid paying from their own pocket. They bought us, helped in a great part by money that wasn't from their own pocket. They've brought in a loan which has helped fund things during this period to avoid paying from their own pocket. They've sold talented kids who could have been worth millions for a cut price because they didn't intend being here when they realised their potential and thus, again, avoided paying from their own pocket. They have tried saying no refunds for games missed (until everyone kicked off about it). If they're now actually having to fund the club they bought and mismanaged then I'm hardly going to have sympathy for them. Maybe they should have stuck to buying clubs they can afford to run.

Sounds like what his joe bugner lookalike bint was saying on stid2

If what Nixon is suggesting is true, i.e. the current owners want the EFL compensation money along with the restrictions that brings then any deal can’t be close imo. Would anyone be surprised?

you can pass the EFL checks before any takeover mate. Proof of funds etc then do the deal.

yes but Nixon suggesting current owners wanting EFL compensation money meaning restrictions on signing’s etc. If that happens surely any new owners won’t want that

I would believe that tbh. And think SD would take any hand outs. I honestly think SD is panicking now. Imagine buying a club under an embargo man

Donald sold his main business for 10 mil. Not a chance he’s got the finances to plug the gaps for us. I think he’s going to sell a majority soon.

I still think he should clarify that we can get about 800k or more of the money and still be able to spend. Its only if they need to apply for a hardship payment type element that it will affect spending. We should be able to take the £800k, use that to get through the next month or so, and hopefully the investment will be completed by then.

He seemed to be suggesting they want money with restrictions attached. We’ll soon see

That sounds like too much common sense, it won’t catch on
