I think he was suffering PTSD after Bolton : ultra cautious , respect the point , he's developed a thick hide from managing at catastrophic clubs and as a coping mechanism spouted bollocks . If he can go somewhere that isn't in dire straights and where he can lose a few games in peace he might rediscover his love of the game.

You do know this is a football forum with a broad church of folk who want the best for safc dont you?( bob the mad excluded).. "History is prologue" matey and one of charlie chaplins (sic) best sayings Yes look forward as much as you like but only on a logical basis and for that you have to look at the past to avoid the mistakes of the future........

Unfortunately history and ongoing events proves that we are owned by a bunch of fuckwits who havent got a clue what they are doing.We have the worst type of fuckwit though ,the ones with no money unlike the texan fuckwitt who could chuck in the cash to paper over his fuckwittery.We have heard wispers of a takeover and a few new appointments and we have a manager who has introduced new heretical ideas that i hope will catch on such as going out to win a football match.In truth everything else is shrouded in mystery ,itks,half truths and speculation ,we have nothing concrete and until that happens yes this and many other fan forums will continue to be abroad church of views on the subject of safc .I would like to only look forward but safc are looking down a barrel at the moment sorta clinging onto a preciseness by our fingernails with donald standing over us with his big clown shoes on and holding a colt 45 .i have know idea whats going to happen and im concerned are not you?

But bitching and abuse is not going to solve it. I honestly think we are starting to see the start of a "plan" at the club and believe we will move forward, I suspect with a new owner, shortly.

This x a googol!!I Cannot see any scenario where those two fekkers will ever show their face at the sol again !I do think however that they think we are mindless bumpkins and a few wins and a share shuffle will calm the horses and they will be welcomed with open arms........... So the new manager has said he was affordable and available so there is no way the new regime spoke to him beforehand, glad that’s been put to bed and as for Speakman, wages have been freed up from Cookey and whoever else to pay for him cos Donald can’t run the show as he will be booted out of town should he come back here. It’s all slowly fitting into place, as Supertramp once said, Takeover what Takeover ))

You think wages saved on Cook helps pay for paying Parky off, Speakman, Johnson, his assistant, and whoever else is coming in?

Tbf he did say whoever else as well. I'm starting to lose track but Reid, Coton and Hill also went. Is Fox still there or is he gone?

I'm not even sure we will be operating the academy at cat 1 requirements in terms of staffing at the min but I'd expect that to change soon with the SpD coming in and making it a priority.
 
The fact LJ said a couple of consortiums are interested tells me that it isn't at the EFL stage at all. We are no nearer to being taken over than we were this time last year.
