He said he spoke to Stewart. Didn't say he was interviewed by him. I believe in his video interview Kristian said he was involved in the selection process. There's nothing to say Donald was actually involved in the selection decision, only that he spoke to him.

Maybe the chat was nothing to do with recruitment I guess, still shows he is involved.
I think the clear thing here is that nobody really knows whats happening with the ownership at the moment, the sooner its all cleared up the better.

Why would an alleged minority shareholder speak with the candidate if the TD is in charge of the selection process?

Depends. Yes, probably, for such a big appointment. All very well talking about autonomy but I'd always ask someone to tell me why they made the decision, otherwise how can I evaluate them?

The echo were just guessing though. Johnson has told the Chronicle journalist directly that by the time he accepted the job offer he hadnt spoken with any of the ownership group besides Stewart Donald.

He'll be investing in Sd. Where Sd leads other follow in business. His dealings and achievements ate legendary. Just awaiting an action figure, mug and replacing lord sugar on the apprentice. The young lad is very lucky to learn from such leader of our times.
