Some of the people on here man haha if it was Michael Dell that picked Lee Johnson they'd be thinking he was the new Alex Ferguson. Cos Stewy's been involved with picking him (as he's the current owner lmao) he's now labelled as shite. At least give him a few games :D
No they wouldn't. People on here tho

Just dont get the bed wetting over the fact Donald might have been involved with the interviews

Should have just said that instead of making a load of bollocks up then.

I imagine it's because nobody trusts him and it was expected he was going to be a silent shareholder at worst with this takeover with KLD bringing in new ideas and a new team to oversee it.

It's beginning to look like he isn't as silent as he would like people to think he is and his continued involvement is already eroding any goodwill towards and new owner.

You'd imagine once the takeover actually goes through he'd take a back seat. Would imagine without paperwork and EFL confirmation Dreyfus wouldn't be allowed to sign off decisions. Can't sign off things at a business you don't own.

Precisely. Sartori maybe could, but it would look odd a minority shareholder signing off instead of the majority one, and it's unlikely he's in the country anyway.

Theres been reports Methven will be more involved and the current owners with have a 60% majority share to the new owner.

We have no idea what will be offically happening post takeover.

Are you saying the new SpD has nothing to do with a new shareholder?

I think he's part of a picture in which they'll all be involved in... including Donald, Methven, Sartori and Dreyfus. You wouldn't think they'd be making decisions without running them by each other as it's a part owned business. For now at least, Dreyfus can only guide and suggest things to Donald and Methven as he's not officially an owner. I think once he does he'll take more of a larger role and SD will step back.

I'm not ITK like but that's my best guess.

Tbh I'd doubt KLD will spend much time here at all. Bit like the elusive JS.

TBF when you've got the opposite of the midas touch like our Stewie, it makes you question any appointment he's had even tangential involvement in

My mistake it's Rodders and Speakman he spoke to.

I knew I'd read it somewhere p 142. article in the echo says Dreyfus and Speakman had talked to all candidates, thats were he would of talked to him about his vision for the club.

If Methven is more involved than present then things will not end well and there'll be uproar relatively quickly.

Geneva or Southwick? Tricky one.

There is a difference between signing things off and being involved in recruitment/interviews etc and it opens up the very real possibility that these are his decisions and/or he is going to be involved going forward. It lends weight to those who think that the 'takeover' is more a reshuffling of shares and won't change as much as some would like.

I keep reading posts regarding Donald “signing off” on johnson’s recruitment. Is this something that’s necessary in football??

Ive certainly never had to get our business owners “sign off” on new recruits.
