I think the problem SD still being involved is the problem! Surely a new incoming ownership team would not sanction underwhelming garbage?

Yeah there’s no way Lee Johnson gets the job with a takeover happening. It’s a very haphazard, unsighted and mundane appointment. Exactly what you would anticipate from Donald and Methven. I suspected from the off the takeover talk was just that, talk. Awful. What a sad day for this club.

If this is the case, and assuming the right structure is being put in place re. the academy, then it sounds fairly promising.

I remember how naive his Bristol City teams were, you would bet every Penny you had that when they were in a good position it would blow up big style. They had good players, you always felt it was the manager holding them back. I’m sure he only got longer given he is popular with club hierarchy thanks to his dad, also went on that cup run beating man United which elevated him to a status which owed to nothing other than fortune.
