With Johnson having received many plaudits for his attacking and expansive brand of football

For the most-part, however, City look to play at a high tempo, playing forwards as much as possible in order to not allow the opposition to settle.

For the record I’m trying to find positives in the appointment rather than thinking he’s the right man.

Can't say id be over the moon mind, coming from someone who doesn't care much who the manager is, it's not ideal.

Inasmuch as the poor sod will be fighting an uphill battle to convince the fans from day one, yes. Johnson seems to have a lot more self-belief than the last manager in that position though. We'd certainly have more 4-3s than 1-0s mind.

Might be in the minority here but whenever I've seen him he's spoken very well, seems a likeable bloke. I don't think any of the candidates necessarily guarantee success and would all need us to get behind them, so if it is Johnson i'll get on board and hopefully see this club start to move in the right direction again.

If you can't see the clear difference between Parky and Johnson I'm not sure what to tell you

His best effort at Bristol in 5 seasons was finishing 8th. His nickname down there is streaky Johnson on account of the massive losing streaks he kept taking them on, last season they went 9 games without a win and lost 7 of those games. Results wise he's another Parkinson.

Some of our fans will be happy with anything though.

Certainly? That sounds like a guarantee. Someone else was just corrected with a remark of ‘there are no guarantees’.

And I bet we wouldn’t have more 4-3s than 1-0s

Thanks. Appreciated
