But some of them really do know bits and pieces. Prehab and Hawyatt gave us enough to believe they knew something in advance. Wheatsheaf too.

Obviously there really are people who enjoy the status despite not having any solid info out there, but I wouldn't tar everyone with the same brush.

It was in foreign media we were interviewing a Scandinavian technical director. Hardly ITK material. It was in L’Equipe over 2 weeks ago.

I personally couldn't give 2 shits about "status". You're all strangers on the internet so I don't care what people think of me. I do see the occasional email from a current owner of the club and I pass it on here because we've had so much crap over the years, I want to give people hope, particularly as the takeover has been kept under wraps so well by the sellers.

Devil is in the detail really. They may want final say over certain key elements, they might be willing to concede on other things, but I agree, it definitely moves them down the list.

Now the questions become 'who appointed Speakman ?' and whether Speakman is the person who will now find our new manager.

In the NFL, the more successful GM/Head Coaches work very heavily in tandem, which usually stems from the GM hiring his preferred coach, rather than having him forced on him.

As long as the parasites are hovering around in the background there will always be a lack of trust as to their involvement in the day to day running of our club and who could blame anybody for thinking along them lines.

i won’t say who, but someone msg me on here and said this new fella was already involved with Gus talks before it went tits up. If true he is already involved but who knows 🤷‍♂️
