Unless the person to be DoF was agreed between both parties, but they couldn't land him. So Gus backs out.
The itk are very quiet! This debacle over Poyet does not give me confidence with the quality of the takeover ..In the real world it should be takeover then manager appointment anything else is worrying.come on you itk give us some info as my hope gland is deflating!I think if this takeover is just a paper exercise and nowt changes much we will lose thousands of fans and never get them back.

RAWA were invited to the meeting, representing their members, they meekly accepted a line about the takeover being close. They never questioned it nor did they give timescales for deferral, it was “OK just let us know when we can have a meeting”. They have since wasted a further 3 weeks and we are no further forward off the field than we were back then. RAWA should have been demanding a new date for the EFL required meeting.
the rest I agree with

Again, I disagree. Especially you making out that RAWA are accepting everything we’re told.
Personally, I think it’s been handled well so far, as has been the consensus from our supporters. And that’s what RAWA act on.
But now is definitely the time to step things up again. The club have been contacted again, and we’re currently awaiting a response.

Is contacting the EFL one of the things under consideration mate?

Genuine question, but what have the club done wrong with the poyet debacle?

Well we’ve already kidnapped his young daughter which ended in a few laughs so not sure what else there is apart from carpet bombing Oxford...?

my sentiments exactly. the owners can’t attend games in Sunderland. He’s removed himself off social media. He is hated and he knows.
from the outset, the fanzines/groups were exploited by these two. They sucked them in with exclusive interviews. Softened them up big style and a few negative strong words are NOTHING to what they should be.

Thoughts on a petition/commitment to demand ST refunds as a group (as big as can be managed?) all at the same time unless there is a positive resolution by a given date?

Because there aren't any. Just a couple of total fantasists
I disagree .....with any business dealings like this it is impossible to keep things quiet.so somebody will be itk..I just dont know whether its prefab, whitecheif , rubbleface or Hagmus. Unfortunately because of the way i was brought up i tend to take people at face value until they disappoint me.......Im very disappointed at the moment  Things are not looking good and i have a funny feeling don and charlie are pissing themselves laughing at us northern bumpkins.I fear the draining of what assets we have left then taking any gov bailouts they can get followed by blaming covid for administration.....

Nothing that RAWA has done has been done meekly mate - two board resignations have followed meetings where RAWA stood their ground. The timing might not be to to everyone's liking I know but after the meeting was cancelled they published the Qs and expressed disappointment and will watch eagerly for an update. They have since publicly articulated that the standards on and off the pitch are not good enough and have written to the club asking for a takeover update and another meeting. When the meeting was cancelled they were disappointed but the club said a takeover was close and then immediately the French connection was leaked. So really now is the time to push again as nowt has happened and so now they are pushing. Believe me they are as frustrated and down right sick as fuck as any supporter.
