TBF its been like this for months now ,some journo speculates,or someone tweets and it becomes fact.We then spend hours tearing into each other on here.Bottom line is we need to change a lot of the top end of the club,if that's done and we are on the rise again ,job done.I couldn't give a shit who has what in terms of shares.

If toot and ploot are still here in any small way then it's cos the greedy bastards have their claws in. But new owners won't rely on the pair of them. He will have a team of very clever folk who will see past them.

How some people can’t see it is beyond me. They will probably change his seat for him and thank him for the opportunity.
 
One question that occurred to me reading the NE piece.

If it’s not a takeover in the traditional sense, rather than the technical one, and the same folks are involved....why is Parky still here?

optimists would say they want a SD in to make that call first. Pessimists would say, “ok, but if they know he’s going they could peddle him to get some points in the short term and allow the SD to fill a vacancy”.

troubling if he’s kept on.

I assume the new owners will stump up the money to pay off Parkinson's contract as SD is unwilling to do so.

SD will want the new team to take that responsibility; we're just ticking over because he's effectively out already. And until they've chosen the SD, they can't be 100% sure of who the new manager will be. I think we can safely assume they won't currently be in a job, to keep time scales short. When it all happens, it will be bang, bang, bang.
