Takeover in trouble

Not sure enjoy is the right word. It's flattering that people think you're credible, but there's a lot of responsibility that goes with it. I was happy to go along when asked, but I knew it wasn't going to be an easy ride, particularly with some of the entrenched views on here. The detail is not that easy to understand - I don't think I'm giving to much away by saying that. That brings with it as least as much difficulty in explaining it.
Yeah yeah yeah we agree with that.We will give you that. Now give us a little back.....Is it good news or bad news though? (In your opinion as a fan).............

Sounds great this like doesnt it
I have no idea what it sounds like tbh

You'll have to wait. I've been told that chapter and verse will arrive soon.

  • The deal was £40m
  • 25m ringfenced (parachute payments) for Ellis's bank debt to SBC
  • Madrox = £15m
  • We agreed to cover cash flow (neutral to bank debt)
  • cash flow was going to be worse (Ndong deal falling through) so lowered £15 to £5m as a deposit
  • 'The remaining £10m we had to pay and the £25m was all secured against the parachute payments'
  • 'But I agreed to pay the remaining balance in September'
  • 'My £10m comes in September'
  • 'it has cost me more than £5m'
  • - £400k that he (Ellis) put in... that's where it (his debt) becomes £9.6m and the best part of the
  • He is saying that the £9.6m went through Madrox to pay the SBC debt. Despite this being the exact amount he would have owed Short when the loan was made.

  • Alvarez debt included in the pre-takeover debt 'a week before we took over' 'a further £30m to football trade debts'
  • Defending use of parachute payments as an abstract way of sticking to their intended use :D
  • Paying off of aggressive bank debt of SBC - so the parachute payments and Ellis Short cleared the SBC debt - £55m from Short, £25m from parachute payments
  • Unbelievably fortunate to have excess parachute payments
  • SD willing to fund ongoing debt so that SBC debt could be paid
  • SD had to cover off other debts (Borini, Khazri, Alvarez)
  • 'Phantom' debt of Madrox to Sunderland (£9.6m)
  • SD: 'I was at a level of 20 (in relation to EFL proof of 50m funds) (see 1:43:00)
Here's the thing though, if SD used his own cash to pay the £9.6m debt he owed to Short, why, oh why, would he not say this? Literally it makes zero sense to think he wouldn't just say this. I just cannot believe that he loaned himself £9.6m and then paid it out to an unknown person but that person absolutely wasn't the person he owed exactly £9.6m to...

That's why I'm asking for more GOM. The circumstances all line up and we're supposed to believe that some vague transfers such as Borini, Khazri and Alvarez all add up to exactly £9.6m.

I think we should question that.

All I'll say for now is that there is some very sloppy language in there.

Please, can we leave it for now? I hate having to say that, but I'm right on the edge of what I'm comfortable with already.
Ok fella. Am just confused with it all, but ignore my later post, and enjoy your evening .

I’ll tell you something lad, if you are on the edge of what you are revealing, I must be really thick as fuck
 Me and you are sitting on the same swing then!
