I was born in 83. Just realised I'd never actually seen a Raleigh Burner till now, when we were around 14 we used to say someone had one when they had a shit bike

Same. At some point early on that year, I broke through the defenses of the egg and nested for most of the year though.

Great year. Left school, first visit to a pub (Grindon Mill) and fingering a lass called Jo in the bus stop at the bottom of the bank. What a time to be alive.

There was VHS then so I'd take back a tape of the 1985 Milk Cup Final to be left in safe keeping and played to the team the night before to change the way they played in that final.

Bollocks to paradoxes, I'd want the win.
