That avatar again manSure they struggled to sell the newcastle arena last time.
I know. I went to both, erm our lass and the bairns obviously. The Circus was better if I was to offer an opinion
i think this is more near why they're playing boro... didnt elton john not playing the darlington arena one year for sort of the same reason? If you look at the tour dates you’ll see they’re doing arenas and small grounds.
As a trio without Robbie they clearly feel they wouldn’t fill bigger venues.
Surely minimal is better than nowt tho plus it's good for local businesses and the area in general.I thought the income into the club was minimal though, and not worth the hassle?
Being the charley big bollocks in the higher leagues the income was Chicken shit, but imagine it’d be much more significant in our current position.Surely minimal is better than nowt tho plus it's good for local businesses and the area in general.
We were at both and both were fantastic nights - the first without the daft lad was better.Take That’s 2009 Circus Tour opened at the SoL, no Robbie (or ‘daft lad’ as you call him). It was fantastic. The one with daft lad was two years later. Also opened at the SoL.
Totally agree. Walking back across the bridge after the Circus I rang Mr P, who’d snootily stayed in London thinking TT was girly shite, and said we are gonna beg steal or borrow to get tickets for this at Wembley in a months time and you won’t regret it. He loved it too.We were at both and both were fantastic nights - the first without the daft lad was better.

Spot on Foggy. Hope you're recovering well, by the way. They're a busted flush now.
We had them to open a tour when the daft lad came back to join the other 4 once the money was worth it for him. Now they're a very shit BeeGees (who were canny ok) busking to pay for the tax dodges.
